The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association is made up of the following types of members:
Any firm or corporation engaged in converting milk and milk components into natural cheese and/or butter. Any such firm may become a Manufacturer Member in this Association with the approval of the Board of Directors and by paying the appropriate level of dues for the current year.
Any manufacturer of pasteurized process cheese products is defined as a Processor/Marketer member. In addition, any business involved in cheese processing (manufacturing cold pack cheese, converting cheese, or manufacturing cheese food products) is a Processor/Marketer member. Cheese marketers (cheese brokers, buyers, and/or distributors) are Processor/Marketer members. Whey processors are Processor/Marketer members.
Any firm meeting these criteria may become a Processor/Marketer member with the approval of the Board of Directors and by paying the appropriate level of dues for the current year.
Any firm or corporation whose business is supplying goods or services to the dairy industry is eligible for Supplier Membership in the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association.
