U.S. Championship Cheese
In 2017, WCMA will host the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest from March 7-9 at Lambeau Field and the KI Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The nation’s largest technical cheese, butter, and yogurt competition breaks records each year for the number of entries and number of cheesemakers participating, and features exciting new categories and world-renowned judges.
World Championship Cheese Contest
Even-numbered years bring WCMA’s World Championship Cheese Contest. In 2016, for the first time in 28 year, a cheese from the United States took top honors. A record 2,957 entries from 24 nations were judged by a team of 52 judges from 17 countries, and the event grows each time it is held.
Prepare for the next global event! The 2018 World Championship Cheese Contest will take place March 6-8 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
