World Championship Cheese Contest Sponsorship
Become a supporting partner in the international cheese community's favorite event, the World Championship Cheese Contest. Now the world's largest cheese competition, the Contest has earned the respect and enthusiastic participation of the world's cheese producing community. This competition, initiated in 1957 by the non-profit Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association, serves to provide an impartial evaluation of fine cheeses produced around the world.
The 2008 World Championship Cheese Contest will draw more than 1,500 cheese and butter entries from more than 20 nations. The competition will be broadcast via internet digital images and live streaming video during the week of March 11-13, 2008 from the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. One month later, gold silver and bronze medalists will be honored in Madison during the International Cheese Technology Exposition, April 22-24, 2008.
