MADISON, WI – Registration for the 2017 Wisconsin Cheese Industry Conference is now open online at www.cheeseconference.org. Co-hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association and the Center for Dairy Research, WCIC will be held April 12 & 13 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin, bringing together thousands of dairy industry representatives to share ideas, innovations, and fellowship.
“The Wisconsin Cheese Industry Conference has earned a reputation for offering the nation’s best technical education programs for cheesemakers and the best opportunities to connect,” said Judy Keller, WCMA Events Director. “In 2017, WCIC will be even bigger and better than ever.”
For a limited time, registrants can take advantage of two deep discounts. The “early bird” rates available now through January 16 save attendees 20% off their full or single-day registration costs.
New this year, the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association is also offering a special discount code applicable to Wednesday exhibits-only registration for employees of dairy manufacturing, processing, and marketing companies. The discount code CM45 lowers exhibits-only registration to just $45 per person. Exhibits-only registration includes full access to the exhibit floor, lunch, and admission to the exceptional Chr. Hansen Championship Cheese Auction evening reception. For the exhibits-only discount, register online and enter the promotional code CM45.
“There’s something for everyone at WCIC, and we’re offering registration options that encourage cheesemakers to send both senior members of their team and their up-and-coming employees, who can make meaningful connections on the show floor and during our social events,” said Keller.
In response to market demand, the 2017 WCIC will feature a record-setting exhibit floor. More than 95% of available space has already been reserved, and interested exhibitors should contact WCMA quickly to claim the few remaining booths. Supplier companies are also reminded that December 1 is the deadline for sponsorships to be noted in WCIC’s registration brochures, which are mailed to more than 3,000 industry professionals. New sponsorship opportunities are now available including support for the Collegiate Dairy Products Evaluation Contest and CDR seminars. Information is available at www.cheeseconference.org
