Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) is today reminding members to mark their calendars to register online for the ever-popular annual Golf and Trap Shoot Outing. Registration kicks off on WisCheeseMakers.org on Tuesday, May 23 at 9 a.m. (CDT).
“We’re thrilled with members’ enthusiasm for the golf and trap shoot outing as an opportunity for networking,” said John Umhoefer, WCMA Executive Director. “You’ll want to be ready to register on Tuesday, May 23, if you’d like to join us, as there’s no doubt tickets will sell out.”
On Wednesday, July 19, golfers will enjoy four courses in Central Wisconsin: two at Lake Arrowhead Resort in Nekoosa, Castle Course at Northern Bay in Arkdale, and Bull’s Eye Country Club in Wisconsin Rapids. Online registrants will have the option of providing information about their course preferences. Names of individual golfers are not required at registration on May 23; only a requested number of golfing slots and payment is needed.
Also on July 19, WCMA’s trapshooting event will be held at the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association’s Homeground Facility, mere minutes from Lake Arrowhead. Registration is open to 50 shooters.
Golfers and trap shooters will enjoy a lunch courtesy of BMO Harris Bank during their activities, and are invited to come together at the Lake Arrowhead Resort following their events for camaraderie at a social hour sponsored by Bemis to be followed by a catered dinner and cash bar.
Other sponsorship opportunities exist, including: dinner sponsors, hole prizes, and cart gifts. For more information, contact WCMA Events Manager Kirsten Henning at email@example.com or via telephone at 608-828-4550. More details can also be found at www.WisCheeseMakers.org.
