U.S. Championship Cheese

In 2019, WCMA will host the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest from March 5-7 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  The nation’s largest technical cheese, butter, and yogurt competition breaks records each year for the number of entries and number of cheesemakers participating, and features exciting new categories and world-renowned judges.


World Championship Cheese Contest

Even-numbered years bring WCMA’s World Championship Cheese Contest.  In 2018, Savencia Cheese's Esquirrou,  made in France at Mauleon Fromagerie by Michel Touyarou, bested a record-breaking 3,400 entries to take top honors.
