Join a packed crowd of friends and colleagues in dairy processing and prepare to bid on the best cheeses in the world at the exciting Novonesis Reception & Championship Cheese Auction, set for Wednesday evening, April 17 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This highlight event at CheeseExpo supports dairy processing scholarships and educational programs administered by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA).

"The annual Championship Cheese Auction is an industry favorite for good reason: it’s an energy-packed opportunity to honor the achievements of the global dairy community, and secure a strong future for the next generation of industry leaders,” said WCMA Executive Director John Umhoefer. “Don't miss it - get your bidding paddles ready!”

This year’s Championship Cheese Auction features gold medal cheeses from the 2024 World Championship Cheese Contest®. View the complete bid sheet at bit.ly/ChampionshipCheeseAuction24 to gear up for a friendly competition with fellow dairy processors and supplier partners, raising funds for the industry’s future.

For nearly three decades, Auction dollars have supported students approaching dairy processing with scholarships to help advance their education. Monies raised at the Auction also fund WCMA’s popular training programs for dairy manufacturers and suppliers, and have fueled donations to build the world-class Center for Dairy Research facility in Madison, as well as dairy pilot plants at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls and South Dakota State University. The World and U.S. Championship Cheese Contests and the Collegiate Dairy Products Evaluation Contest improve and grow each year thanks to generous Auction bids.

Full registration for CheeseExpo, set for April 16-18, includes access to hundreds of supplier exhibits, two full days of educational seminars led by dairy processing experts, ample networking opportunities, and celebrations of cheese industry excellence. Advance registration is open now through April 8 at CheeseExpo.org. After April 8, all registrations will take place on-site.
