July 24, 2013: WCMA Golf OutingJoin the WCMA Golf Outing and choose from one of three excellent courses in Central Wisconsin. Golfers have the choice of golfing at The Pines or The Lakes course at Lake Arrowhead Resort near Rome or The Castle Course at Northern Bay in Arkdale. At the end of the day, all golfers will gather at the Lake Arrowhead Clubhouse for social hour and dinner. The WCMA Golf Outing has the fun and energy of an event brimming with friends. And to make sure the golfing remains a pleasure, we’ll cap the number of golfers at 432 (that’s two foursomes per hole).
More Information About This EventThe WCMA Golf Outing is a scramble tournament. The shotgun start is 10:30 a.m. at Northern Bay's Castle Course and 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Arrowhead courses. Come early to hit complimentary range balls, meet friends and pick up your cart gifts. You’ll enjoy a complimentary lunch. Lunch will be served beginning at 9:30 a.m.
WCMA is seeking donations of cart gifts, rather than door prizes. We’ll offer skill prizes on each of our 54 golf holes. And, of course, we’ll honor the best and worst golfers on all three courses. After golf, attendees will meet at the Lake Arrowhead clubhouse to enjoy social hour and dinner. The rate for WCMA members is $185 per golfer. Non Member dairy manufacturers may attend for $250. All supplier attendees must be a member of Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association to participate. The price includes everything you'll need: golf cart; greens fees; range balls; cart gifts; outdoor barbecue lunch; social hour and dinner. The cost to attend only the reception and dinner is $50. Located on the shores of Castle Rock Lake just north of the Wisconsin Dells, Northern Bay features a replica 18 hole golf experience inspired by courses the pros play. At Northern Bay, you won't simply be playing golf, you'll be competing shot-for-shot against the most legendary holes in all of golf. Directions Follow I-90/94 West to (Exit 79). Turn right off the exit ramp. Follow Highway HH North until you come to the Highway 82 intersection. Turn right (east) on Highway 82 and cross over the Wisconsin River bridge. Take the first left immediately after bridge onto Highway Z. Follow Highway Z for about 15 miles, then turn left on Czech (Dakota) Avenue to 20th Avenue. Take a left on 20th , drive until you see the Northern Bay entrance (approximately 1/2 mile).
