WCMA Golf Outing is Full; Sponsorship Opportunities still available
The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association Golf Outing, set for July 21, is sold out. Golfers will golf at one of three excellent courses in Central Wisconsin: The Pines at Lake Arrowhead Resort in Nekoosa, The Lakes at Lake Arrowhead Resort, or, new this year, the Bull’s Eye Country Club Course in Wisconsin Rapids (20 minutes north of Lake Arrowhead).
Golfers will begin their day with range balls, cart gifts and lunch at their respective course. After golf, attendees will meet at Lake Arrowhead Resort to enjoy the CURWOOD social hour, dinner, and skill prize recognition.
Space is still available for sponsorship opportunities, as well as for guests wishing to attend social hour and dinner at Lake Arrowhead Resort.
Complete details for the event will be sent to all registered golfers in late June.

Golfers will golf at one of three excellent courses in Central Wisconsin: The Pines at Lake Arrowhead Resort in Nekoosa, The Lakes at Lake Arrowhead Resort, or, new this year, the Bull’s Eye Country Club Course in Wisconsin Rapids (20 minutes north of Lake Arrowhead).
Each course will offer all ammenities including range balls, lunch, hole prizes and cart gifts. At the end of the day, all golfers will gather at the Lake Arrowhead Clubhouse for social hour and dinner.
The WCMA golf outing is a scramble tournament with a shotgun start. The shotgun start is 10:30 a.m. at Bull’s Eye Country Club and 11:00 a.m. at Lake Arrowhead. Come early to hit complimentary range balls, meet friends and pick up your cart gifts. You’ll enjoy a complimentary lunch (fresh grilled burgers and brats). Lunch will be served beginning at 9:30 a.m. and continue until 1:30 p.m.
Cart Gifts; Prizes Again this year, we’re asking for cart gifts, rather than door prizes, for our golfers that wish to bring prizes to the outing. Gifts in each cart mean everyone enjoys keepsakes from the event and everyone enjoys a much shorter dinner program. We’ll offer skill prizes on each of our 54 golf holes. And, of course, we’ll honor the best and worst golfers on all three courses.
Social Hour & Dinner After golf, attendees will meet outdoors at the Lake Arrowhead clubhouse to enjoy social hour. Two large tents on the driving range will offer plenty of room for our popular refreshment break. We’ll move indoors for dinner and wrap-up the day with our shorter after-dinner program.

The Lakes Course is located 2.5 miles from the Clubhouse.Featuring water hazards on seven of the 18 holes, the newest Lake Arrowhead course is not for the faint of heart or the errant driver. It rewards the accurate and punishes the gambler. Perhaps this combination of scenic beauty and well-bunkered beast is why The Lakes was nominated as one of Golf Digest’s Best New Public Course in America ‘99.

Lake Arrowhead Resort is located 13 miles south of Wisconsin Rapids on Highway 13. Exit Hwy. 13 at Apache Lane. The Lake Arrowhead Clubhouse is located at 1195 Apache Lane.

Directions
If traveling on I-39, take the Highway 73 exit and go west toward Wisconsin Rapids. Take Highway 13 North to Pepper Avenue. Go west on Pepper Avenue which runs in to Ridgewood Trail. Keep going on Ridgewood Trail to the end.
If traveling on I-90/94, at Wisconsin Dells, take the Highway 13 exit North. Follow Highway 13 North into Wisconsin Rapids to Pepper Avenue. Go west on Pepper Avenue which runs in to Ridgewood Trail. Keep going on Ridgewood Trail to the end.
