Description: Alpine Slicing is looking for several seasons production line personnel to work either our 1st shift, 5am - 3pm or 2nd shift, 3pm - 1am thru December. We run 6 different lines during our 1st shift, which include slice lines, stick lines and a cryovac line and 4 lines during our second shift. We typically run a 10 hour shift Monday thru Thursday. However, the holiday production season has begun and then it often becomes necessary to work Fridays and an occasional Saturday.
We are looking for people to work on these lines, feed in bulk cheese, put finished cheese in its packaging and/or place finished packages in corrugated case and palletize.
Depending on attendance and performance, it is possible to be considered for a permanent, full-time position after the holiday rush. This possibility is dependent on position openings.
Experience, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours in a cool environment. Must be able to lift up to 30-50 pounds on occasion. Ability to perform repetitive, fast paced work with both hands. Previous food manufacturing experience a plus! Bilingual ability a plus!
Hours/Employment Type: Seasonal, Full Time
Salary: $12.25 - $13.25 hr depending on shift
