Job Title: Whey Supervisor 2nd Shift

Company: Wapsie Valley Creamery, Inc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be capable of regular and unpredictable attendance
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Able to work Weekends as needed
  • Able to work holidays as needed
• Effectively communicate with Management, Supervisors, and Employees in all departments
  
  • Production levels
  • Production schedule
  • Product on hand
  • Employee scheduling
• Have thorough knowledge and understanding of equipment and how it operates
  
  • Assist in training employees on equipment, fill in operator position when short handed
  • Proofing MSS are completed and correctly done
  • Enforce GMP’s
  • Develop and update SOP’s for different jobs in the department
  • Work with Maintenance on troubleshooting problems
• Maintain high levels of quality on product
• Offer guidance on process improvements
• Enforce all OSHA and Company Safety Rules
• Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned
• There is a $2 shift differential for 2nd shift

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and understanding of Whey Equipment and Processes
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to multi task
• Self starter/self motivated
• Attention to detail

Hours/Employment Type: Full Time, 2nd Shift

Salary: $27.50/hr
