WCMA Wastewater Technology Field Day: Agropur-Little Chute
State-of-the-Art Wastewater Treatment Plant Tour
Agropur-Little Chute, 3805 N Freedom Rd, Appleton, WI 54913
Event Details
Members of the WCMA Technology Committee are invited to an exclusive tour of the new wastewater treatment plant at Agropur’s cheesemaking facility north of Little Chute, Wisconsin, beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. This is a unique, $25 offering from WCMA with proceeds given to Agropur to offset costs.
This opportunity is independent of the “Dairy Wastewater Fundamentals” short course that WCMA is hosting with Center for Dairy Research on the morning of August 26. Short course attendees – and technology committee members who jump on this exclusive email invitation – will converge on the Agropur waste treatment site as the “field visit” portion of the day. The Agropur facility includes state-of-the-art technology to produce a cake sludge for landspreading from dairy plant wastewater.
We encourage you to attend the morning short course, or send your key staff to this great educational opportunity. But we are also offering this $25 opportunity to simply tour the Agropur facility at 1:30 in the afternoon, thanks to a generous offer from Agropur to invite “one and all.”
As a practical matter, this exclusive “field visit” opportunity will be available only to the first 35 respondents. This is an exclusive WCMA Technology Committee offer – it will not appear in other WCMA publications.
