Job Title: 3rd Shift Churn Operator

Company: Grassland Dairy Products, Inc.

Location:  Greenwood, WI

Description: The Churn Operator is responsible for the efficient operation of churn and Rothenburg equipment to meet butter demands for print and packaging equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Operating churn and Rothenburg equipment to keep butter flowing smoothly.
Ensuring top-notch quality control (fat content, temperature, ingredients) for every batch.
Keeping butter supply systems in check, controlling flows and pressures.
Performing C.I.P. (clean-in-place) on all churn system equipment.
Assembling, disassembling, and troubleshooting equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment.
Knowledgeable in machine operations, and minor troubleshooting ability.
Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance.
Able to understand daily production needs.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:     
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Must be able to obtain and retain a butter maker’s license.
Basic computer skills
Must be able to maintain applicable powered industrial vehicle certifications. (Forklift, Scissor lift, etc.)

Hours/Employment Type: Full Time

Salary/Wages: $20.00/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential
