Description: Cheesemakers use critical decision-making skills to make cheese and manage product flow throughout the production area while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards.
Table operators work under the supervision of a licensed Cheesemaker to assist in making cheese while maintaining high quality in food and safety standards.
Scheduled hours will be 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Monday – Friday and scheduled production Saturdays. Shift times will vary slightly on an occasional basis to cover for department absences.
If a candidate does not currently have a cheesemaker’s license, training and educational opportunities will be provided by the company with the potential opportunity to transition to a Cheesemaker role.

Experience, Skills and Abilities: The position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand, frequently reach forward and overhead, occasionally lift 10 – 80 lbs., and occasionally bend and twist. Dairy or food manufacturing experience is preferred. Current cheesemaker’s license is preferred. Reliability and dependability are critical.
Hours/Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: Hourly wage starting at $21.20 - $22.70 based on experience, skills, and abilities.
