Description: A new and innovative medium sized creamery is seeking a Dairy Plant Manager in Burbank, OH, that produces high-quality dairy products. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the plant operations, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently and meeting all quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and a proven track record of success in a managerial role.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a small team of production staff (+3), including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
* Develop and implement plant policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Compile and oversee procedure for regular and preventative maintenance
* Monitor inventory and production schedules to meet consumer demand
* Directly facilitate production on a daily basis
Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- 5+ Years of experience in a Milk/Dairy Manufacturing Plant Management role
- Must have a strong understanding of Dairy manufacturing processes, food safety, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to lift +50 lbs and stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Strategic knowledge of production operations management for quality, yield, and cost benefits.
- Knowledge of financial and budgetary procedures to assist in strategic planning.
- Ability to relocate near Burbank, OH if needed
Hours/Employment Type:
Salary/Wages: $100,000 - $130,000
