Job Title: Organizational Development Advisor

Description: The Organizational Development Advisor is responsible for facilitating the development and implementation of programs and initiatives designed to enhance the employee experience.  This may include career pathing, employee development, employee mobility, engagement surveys, Diversity/Equity/Inclusion initiatives as well as succession planning.  This role will collaborate and interface closely with Human Capital personnel throughout the US and Canada to effectively and efficiently implement programs and achieve program adoption throughout Agropur.  This position will assist in the development of OD toolkits and training programs to be used by various Agropur sites to improve the employee experience and career management of our employees.

  • Build strong relationships with leaders across the business to ensure that the development needs for employees are understood and are being fulfilled.

  • Participate in development of organizational toolkit including:

    • Core Competency Materials

    • Performance Improvement templates

    • Performance Review Guidelines

    • Training on development topics

  • Participate in talent retention and engagement strategies in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure their deployment.

  • Develop, and deploy functional and cross functional career paths including related learning outcomes.

  • Design, implement, train and support managers in the identification of critical positions and high potential employees and candidates.

  • Participate in various organizational development projects related to the Medium- and Long-Term Strategies of the business, such as mobilization, recognition, diversity and inclusion, development of training content, etc.

  • Identify new and emerging technologies and trends within the Organizational Development and Human Capital communities, ensuring that the function is on the leading edge.

Experience, Skills and Abilities: 

The Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.  

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

  • Minimum three (3) years of organizational development/employee engagement experience required.

The Extras (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Bi-lingual French and English preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
