Description: We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Butter & Ice Cream Maker to oversee the daily production of our dairy products. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of butter and ice cream manufacturing, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, supervising production staff, and ensuring the production facility is clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform and oversee all production of butter, ice cream, and other dairy products.
Develop and execute daily and weekly production schedules to meet inventory and customer demand.
Monitor product quality and ensure consistency throughout the production process.
Maintain accurate inventory of ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products.
Coordinate ordering needs and communicate inventory shortages.
Perform and oversee all cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with food safety regulations and company standards.
Maintain the production facility, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and hygienic condition.
Supervise, train, and schedule part-time production assistants and packing staff.
Ensure employees follow proper food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Troubleshoot production issues and assist with equipment maintenance as needed.
Maintain production records and documentation required for regulatory compliance.
Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in dairy processing, food manufacturing, or a related production environment preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to supervise employees and work effectively as part of a team.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance practices.
Buttermaker and/or Pasteurizer License preferred, or the ability to obtain the required license(s) within 12 months of employment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
Ability to work in refrigerated, wet, and fast-paced production environments.
Hours/Employment Type: Full Time
Salary/Wages: $20-$25/hour
