We are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator in our Cut & Wrap cheese plant
in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, just off Hwy 41. A small family owned and operated company that
opened its doors in mid-2018. It caters to small-medium sized specialty orders with high food
safety standards.
This Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the daily implementation of all food
safety and quality processes within the plant. This will require working with internal and
external individuals. This position is also accountable for training staff on food/plant
safety/HACCP/GMP standards.
With this being a small facility, this Quality Assurance Coordinator has the opportunity to
make the Quality Department its own.
Hours of Operation:
1st Shift, Monday-Thursday approximately 5:45AM-4:45PM, depending on production
needs. Potentially Half or Full days on Fridays, as needed. Salaried Position.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a science, operations, business, management or
related area of study - Experience in the dairy or cheese industry is preferred
- Prior experience in food manufacturing is a plus – Cryovac and/or Hayssen
equipment - 2 years+ of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in food grade environment
- Experience and ability to implement HACCP, GMP's, FISMA, SQF, FDA, WDATCP,
- Kosher and perform internal auditing is highly desirable
- Knowledgeable in sanitation, swabbing techniques and procedures.
- PCQI, preferred
- SQF Practitioner, preferred
- HACCP trained/certified
- Ability to write and implement GMP, SQF, and SSOP documentation
- OSHA knowledgeable, preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, if needed
- Valid Driver’s Licenses, required
Required Skills:
Strong attention to detail & timeliness. Ability to continually re-prioritize throughout the day
and balance numerous projects. Be a problem-solver with the willingness to learn from
others with a positive attitude.
Self-driven to make a successful contribution to the team. Must be willing to be hands-on in
the production room. Work independently and also side by side with co-workers without
supervision.
Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting and judgment skills.
Understanding of sanitation systems, techniques and procedures.
Team player able to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel and Word. Knowledge of
PowerPoint and willingness to learn Access is necessary.
Language Skills:
Must be able to speak, write, and understand English clearly.
Strong verbal and written (hand and e-mail) communication skills to effectively communicate
Quality Assurance needs and requirements of the company to all company employees,
customers, vendors, suppliers, etc.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
