Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic, inspirational Senior Operations Manager to lead our multi-site Trustworthy Teams and provide long-term value to our customers.
For our teams, as direct manager of our crew chiefs, you are responsible for developing our people to be their personal best, guiding our culture work to build connections through purpose and widen the circle of engagement, so everyone has input, is valued, and has a voice. As you optimize and engage our diverse talent, you will equally focus on performance by ensuring accountability and driving results.
For customers, you will be responsible to create positive emotional connections with senior leadership and teams, ensure customer satisfaction, drive customer growth, and increase account profitability. You will be responsible for the customer stages of new customer start-up, customer delivery, and customer account management process (i.e., CAMP - retention and growth). You will provide support to executive leadership for the front-of-the-funnel sales activities.
For our business, as a member of the Senior Leadership team, you will optimize operations and contribute to improving the Harrigan system. You will help set the vision and execute our strategic objectives, while ensuring alignment with company culture and operational expectations.
This role demands someone who aligns over purpose and engages our team in the Harrigan way to achieve human growth as well as customer and operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspire and Engage People
• Build Effective Teams: Attracts and hires top talent, establishes shared mindset and sense of belonging, and structures the work to align with people's goals & motivators.
• Coaching and Development: Hands-on coaching of crew chiefs, leads, and crew members, supporting individual development plans based on individual strengths and interest along with organizational values and objectives.
• Leadership Responsibilities: Manages Crew Chiefs and Leads across multiple sites and shift schedules to meet both customer and team member objectives. Proactively manages resource risks and schedules, may provide fill-in support as needed.
• Ensures Accountability: Pushes self and others to achieve results with a sense of urgency and quality. Establishes clear responsibilities & processes for monitoring work and measuring it. Designs feedback systems and follows through on commitments and ensures others do as well.
Drive Results
• Customer Relationship and Quality: Leads overall customer quality levels in collaboration with crew chiefs. Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers at all levels. Ensures contractual and operational requirements are met/exceeded.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor, control, and optimize customer profitability while managing labor and operating expenses.
• Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Compliance: Utilize Harrigan system to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• New Customer Start-up: Lead new customer start-up process to ensure high quality customer transition and team member experience and engagement.
• Customer Account Management Process (CAMP): Lead overall CAMP processes across all accounts and collaborate with Crew Chiefs and Leads to retain and grow customers, enhance customer satisfaction, conduct quarterly partnership reviews, and gather testimonials
• Sales Support: Assist executive leadership in sales processes including qualification, onsite walkthrough, business case, proposal, and contract.
Support Harrigan Business
• Leadership: As a key member of the Senior Leadership team, guides development and execution of strategic objectives, participating in regular leader meetings and strategic planning sessions while owning specific KPI’s and strategic projects. Communicates energy/optimism for the future.
• Operational Procedures: Develop and implement procedures for new customer startups, customer delivery, CAMP, and technical operational processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Prior experience in Food and Beverage Manufacturing with proven supervisory experience in multi-site and with multiple reporting relationships (such as Regional Operations Manager (preferred) or Plant Manager (recommended)).
• Lean/CI methodology exposure.
• Proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of profit drivers.
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and phone apps.
• Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and travel as needed according to customer and team schedules.
Education and Years of Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7-10 years in operations management or a related field.
Hours/Employment Type: Full Time
