Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Process Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key leadership role in developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes in food and dairy plants across the country. You will leverage your engineering expertise to identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot problems, and ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of customer-driven manufacturing process improvements.
- Analyze and optimize existing processes to increase efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including flow diagrams, technical manuals, SOPs, and training materials.
- Collaborate with all groups in our team, including controls/automation, robotics, fabrication, and installation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior process engineers.
- Manage execution and installation of systems of all types and sizes.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in process engineering.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards (3-A, FDA, PMO, ANSI, ASME)
Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Process Engineer.
- Proven experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in 2D and 3D AutoCAD or similar for process and instrumentation diagrams, piping/installation models and more.
- Experience working in both GMP and construction environments.
