Register now to join a free COVID-19 webinar available exclusively to members of the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association on Thursday, October 1 from 1-2 p.m. (CDT).  Wisconsin regulators will highlight new operations guidance for Wisconsin employers on mitigating the risk of viral transmission, and will unveil a new, free service offering confidential COVID-19 consultations by experts from the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene.

“Dairy manufacturers and processors deserve clear advice and support in their efforts to protect their valued staff and their businesses,” said John Umhoefer, WCMA Executive Director.  “WCMA is pleased to offer practical insights and resources in partnership with state officials and industry experts.”

Wisconsin Department of Health Services COVID-19 Occupational Safety and Health Program Epidemiologist Komi Modji and Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene COVID-19 Consultant Kelli Rush are set to present on October 1, alongside WCMA staff.

The new consulting service from the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene can help your business develop a COVID Exposure Prevention, Preparedness and Response Plan, conduct an analysis of your workplace, and identify ideas for administrative, engineering and PPE controls to reduce COVID exposure in your workplace.

WCMA will reserve time at the end of the webinar for DHS and WSLH staff to respond to member questions.  WCMA will present pre-submitted questions from members anonymously; simply send them by Wednesday, September 30 to WCMA Communications, Education, and Policy Director Rebekah Sweeney at rsweeney@wischeesemakers.org.
