Build Stronger Leaders and Retain Valued Talent with WCMA Fall Trainings

Dairy processing leaders looking to cultivate a positive workplace culture and build their management skills are invited to attend Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association's (WCMA) popular Front-Line Leadership trainings this fall. The first all-day session of this in-person three-part series will be on September 17 at WCMA's Madison office. Details and registration for WCMA’s Front-Line Leadership classes are available now at WisCheeseMakers.org/Trainings. 

“Strong organizations depend on people who feel prepared and supported to lead,” said Sara Schmidt, WCMA Membership Director. “More than 1,000 WCMA member employees have completed our leadership trainings, gaining practical skills they can use right away to communicate effectively, strengthen their teams, and grow as leaders. We’re excited to build on that momentum this fall and help even more dairy industry professionals develop the skills and confidence to lead.” 

This three-part series, sponsored by Nelson-Jameson, is designed for new and seasoned supervisors of focused teams and will help build their skill set in conflict resolution, communication, stress and time management, and the cultivation of a team mentality. Part A, on September 17, will encourage attendees to evaluate and expand on their current skills. Part B, on October 14, will teach attendees how to boost their team's performance. Finally, Part C, on November 19, will focus on teaching participants how to cultivate a team mentality at work.  

Each course costs just $189 and can be taken à la carte and in any order. Successful completion of all three parts of WCMA Front-Line Leadership will result in a free, full registration to CheeseCon 2027, valued at approximately $600.
