All dairy manufacturers, processors, and industry suppliers are welcome to attend the hybrid meeting in-person in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, or online via Zoom.
The Alliance, a partnership between the Center for Dairy Research (CDR), Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin (DFW) and Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA), offers practical presentations on the latest in food safety research and regulatory practices, and a chance to reconnect with your peers in dairy processing.
“The Dairy Food Safety Alliance offers dairy processors the timely information and practical resources they need to stay competitive amid a dynamic regulatory environment and evolving consumer preferences. It’s the best way to learn the latest in dairy food safety while strengthening your network,” said WCMA Events Manager Kirsten Strohmenger.
The Alliance’s October meeting will feature a presentation and industry panel on inspector observations in dairy plants. Leading dairy processing consultants Jim Mueller and Larry Bell will share GMP updates and helpful resources, followed by an update from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. In-person attendees will enjoy a networking lunch at 11:45 a.m. before the meeting resumes for all attendees at 12:30 p.m. with group discussion on hot topics in food safety.
This informational meeting costs just $45 per person to attend. Questions may be directed to WCMA Events Manager Kirsten Strohmenger at email@example.com.
