"Good Data, Better Decisions": Prepare Your Business for Sustainability Audits with WCMA Workshop
Dairy processors are invited to join the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association's (WCMA) next two-day in-person Sustainability Workshop on Wednesday, October 21, from 10:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (CT) and Thursday, October 22, from 9:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (CT) at WCMA's offices in Madison, Wisconsin. In "Good Data, Better Decisions: Building a Stronger Sustainability Data Strategy", participants will get an in-depth look at the sustainability reporting landscape, learn how to build sustainability data SOPs, and prepare their data for external scrutiny. Registration is available now at WisCheeseMakers.org/Events.
"Dairy processors need repeatable, reliable, and defensible processes to collect, analyze, and report their sustainability data," says Danica Nilsestuen, WCMA Director of Sustainability & Grants. "This workshop will help attendees find new ways to create value for their business, and will give them the confidence they need in their sustainability data so they can rest assured that it will withstand audits."
Available to WCMA members and non-members, this workshop — supported by the Dairy Business Innovation Alliance (DBIA) — will be led by industry experts from Harbor Environmental, a Terracon company, and dairy processing industry leaders. Over the two-day program, attendees will delve into a variety of topics, including which data they should collect and why, the importance of data integrity, why sustainability data matters, and how to turn data requests into strategic conversations. After the first day of the workshop concludes on Wednesday, October 21, participants are invited to attend a WCMA-hosted dinner.
WCMA members may now register for this program at WisCheeseMakers.org/Events. Questions about this workshop may be directed to Danica Nilsestuen at dnilsestuen@wischeesemakers.org.
