- Description: Enhance the quality of business systems, products and services. Utilize data for business insights. Partner with key business stakeholders to design, develop, implement, test, and support technology solutions that reduce waste and add value. Position Responsibilities
- Manage IT initiatives of varying complexity to ensure business needs are met and completed within agreed upon schedule and budget.
- Act as the liaison between business users, technical personnel, and vendors to achieve common goals.
- Design, develop and maintain apps, BI reports and automation within the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Collaborate to understand business problems or opportunities. Analyze and present options in conjunction with the Bassett Transformation Office (BTO) initiative to accelerate digital transformation.
- Design/deliver/coordinate training as needed.
- Prepare and update documentation to include process flow, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), etc.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve reported system issues, including application, data, interface, and functional issues. Articulate technical issues and business impact; assess the need for escalation and to ensure timely resolution of complex or business critical problems while adhering to the business change management policy
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review professional publications, establish personal networks, benchmark with similar organizations, participate in applicable organizations/groups.
- Actively participates in business process improvement activities and events (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned and/or required.
Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Strategic thinker; knowledge of business operations.
- Excellent organization and project management skills.
- Skilled in communicating with a variety of people and personalities.
- Advanced computer skills in common business applications (Microsoft 365); knowledgeable in Excel and Office scripts.
- Power Platform Development (Canvas apps, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate)
- Power BI Dashboard, Report and Paginated Report development
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
- Knowledge of ERP software preferably Vista by Viewpoint or similar Trimble product is preferred but not, required
- Ability to work within and understand a typical ticketing software
- Crystal Reports Software knowledge preferred, but not required.
- Ability to research, analyze and solve problems effectively.
- Ability to teach and explain processes and the use of tools to others.
- Proven multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
Hours/Employment Type: Full Time
