The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities and supporting maintenance functions. This position provides administrative assistance to improve the overall effectiveness of maintenance activities. APPLY DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR CAREERS PAGE BELOW.

• Use CMMS software to schedule operations and maintenance work activities in a manner that ensures project resources are efficiently allocated to support applicable phases of operations.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling and organizing the efficient operation and performance of work assignments.
• Develop operations and maintenance work packages and instructions to support work activities, including pre-planning, material staging requisitioning/expediting, labor estimating, and all other field support as required.
• Monitor assignments to ensure they are within the agreed scope, schedule and budget, and that the work is being performed within outlined policies and expectations.
• Review engineering plans and product specifications to determine raw material requirements and support operation schedules.
• Work with Purchasing to obtain and schedule materials based upon production forecasts.
• Work with Plant Engineering and related design areas to develop tools and instructions that maximize facility and equipment performance.
• Anticipate and eliminates potential delays through planning and coordination of manpower, parts and materials, and equipment access.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with the production team, maintenance team,
• Production Supervisors, and local contractors.
• Research and acquire mobile equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment file lists.
• Manage the project management and work order system.
• Provide assistance to the engineering department and the Maintenance Manager as needed.

Experience, Skills and Abilities: 

• High School Diploma
• 2-3 years in the maintenance field
• Good communication and people skills
• Organized, team oriented and self driven.

Hours/Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: $25.59 to $35.83 based on experience
