MADISON, WI – The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) invites all member company employees, age 40 and under, to join its Young Professionals group on Friday, January 18 for a tour of Klondike Cheese Company, followed by a networking event.  Registration is open now on WisCheeseMakers.org.

“WCMA’s Young Professionals group offers opportunities for professional growth, both through industry education and greater connection,” said John Umhoefer, WCMA Executive Director.

The WCMA Young Professionals event begins January 18 at 10 a.m., with an educational tour of the newly-expanded Klondike Cheese Company facilities in Monroe, Wisconsin.  The group will then gather at the Alpine Curling Club, also in Monroe, from 12:00-3:30 p.m. to enjoy a networking lunch and try curling.  Registration, which includes the tour, meal, and activity, costs just $30 per person.

Note that this event has capacity for just 35 participants, and all must register by Tuesday, January 15.  Questions may be directed to WCMA Events Manager Kirsten Strohmenger at kstrohmenger@wischeesemakers.org or at 608-286-1001.
